Who is Eleanor Haack-Finney
Eleanor Haack-Finney is the founder and Executive Director of Defenders of Resilience Military Ministry, an ordained non-denominational pastor, Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, author, speaker, and Navy military spouse.
She was named the 2025 Hampton Roads Heroes at Home Military Spouse of the Year and recognized as a 2025 AFI Military Spouse of the Year Base Winner—Navy, Not Affiliated. She is a graduate of Liberty University and the author of Perhaps This Is It, a faith-centered invitation to recognize the mission hidden within ordinary life.
